Smowltech has been selected for phase 2 funding by the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument. Smowltech will receive funding for its project, “A continuous identity authentication & monitoring system for online services using automatic face, voice and typing recognition”, through the EU’s research and innovation programme, Horizon 2020 SME Instrument. The grant will be held to accelerate the development of new features and growth of Smowltech’s cyber-security service covering the need for a continuous, automatic and scalable authentication of online user’s identity and monitoring, and to test the solution in large scale pilots testing the scalability of it and achieve new projects in foreign countries. The technology, based on continuous automatic facial recognition can be applied to numerous sectors. Within this project, it is implemented into the e-learning growing market, where a substantial need has been detected for online proctoring and remote invigilation services.
