Play a critical role by using sensational coding skills to flawless prototype plugins, landing pages, web applications, and websites. Your ability to optimize features based on data-driven insights is the secret to your success.

Commitment & Contract: Full-time or part-time; permanent or fixed-term, depending on seniority.

Location: Donostia/San Sebastián, Spain, or fully remote, if you can’t or don’t want to relocate. If you choose the on-site option, keep in mind that it’s still fine to sometimes work remotely. We also offer relocation support.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications deployed to cloud infrastructure (AWS).
  • Design and implement client-side and server-side functionality (from storage to browser).
  • Troubleshoot and refactor code on existing applications.
  • Create web-based user interface components and data visualizations.
  • Write and perform unit and other tests to ensure the quality of code.
  • Write technical documentation.
  • Lead and provide guidance to junior members of the team.
  • Self-manage your assigned tasks and coordinate the team.

Main requirements:

  • Strong alignment with our values.
  • Ability to work independently, but being a good team player.
  • Ability to understand and help to make great product and business decisions.
  • 3 + years of experience developing medium/large-scale web applications and distributed systems in a production environment, including experience with LAMP technologies (Linux, Apache, MySql, PHP).
  • Experience with typical web design and architectural patterns (valuable MVC frameworks).
  • CSS3, HTML5, & jQuery skills. Node.js is also valuable.

Main requirements should be complemented with one or more of the following additional technologies/skills:

  • Experience with AWS Basic Compute & Storage Services (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, ELB).
  • Experience with scripting languages (bash, python, ruby) to automate tasks (test, pipelines, cronjobs, etc.).
  • Good understanding and practical application of Linux command-line.
  • Experience working with git-based tools like Github, GitLab, Bitbucket, Codecommit.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with highly scalable distributed architectures.
  • Experience with Kubernetes/Docker.
  • AWS Serverless Technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, Elastic Beanstalk, Fargate).
  • Experience working with agile methodologies (SCRUM).
  • Familiarity with core business applications such as Jira and Slack.

Build next-generation tools and a rock-solid infrastructure to support the development of our hugely popular apps while helping us become the most efficient, effective workforce in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Scripting and updating Lambda functions in the AWS cloud environment
  • Define and develop integrations between services and applications
  • Design, deploy and manage AWS cloud services/systems that support company products & services
  • Design and build automation to support continuous delivery and continuous integration processes.

Main requirements:

  • 3+ years in software development, preferably in Python (Node.js also works)
  • Experience building software applications on Linux in an AWS environment
  • Strong understanding of AWS networking and security (IAM, Security Groups, VPC, Cognito)
  • VPC, networking and routing & VPN setup and management

Main requirements should be complemented with one or more of the following additional technologies/skills:

  • Scripting in Bash, Python, Node.js or similar
  • Experience with Cloudformation or Terraform
  • Experience with AWS Serverless solutions, including Lambda, Fargate, S3, SAM.
  • Ability to write readable, efficient, maintainable code while following best practices
  • Experience in source code management tools like Git, preferably using Gitflow
  • Understanding of database fundamentals and SQL
  • Strong experience using the DevOps principle
  • Experience with automation/configuration management scripting and tools (Ansible preferred)
  • Experience with AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM)
  • Experience using other AWS Serverless technologies: Kinesis, DynamoDB, Aurora Serverless, Fargate

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of AWS CodeBuild and CodePipeline
  • Knowledge of the cost tradeoffs within AWS
  • LAMP stack experience
  • Knowledge of AWS Rekognition and /or other Image/Video processing Solutions
  • AWS certification
