What is SMOWL’s user authentication?
It is a feature that authenticates users before accessing an online evaluation. SMOWL collects and compares biometric data and official documents, such as an ID card or passport, with the user’s image captured by the webcam.
Authentication can be carried out once or repeatedly throughout the session, depending on the desired security level.
You can also choose the authentication mode: automatic with biometrics, manual by a person, or (if you prefer not to use biometrics) a detection that monitors presence without authenticating the user.
How does user authentication work?
The SMOWL user authentication process is simple, secure, and effective.
Identity document capture:
The user must show their document (ID card, residence card, passport, or equivalent) to the camera so the system can verify the data.
Real-time facial recognition:
A facial image is taken and automatically compared with the document.
