SMOWL’s webcam monitoring system captures periodic images that are analyzed and stored in detailed reports. It is an effective solution for detecting suspicious actions or unauthorized behavior during an online exam.
How does SMOWL’s webcam proctoring work?
During the evaluation, the user’s webcam is activated and begins automatically capturing images at regular intervals. These images are processed using artificial intelligence to detect atypical behaviors such as:
- Prolonged absences from the camera
- Frequent glances away from the screen
- User changes
- Presence of additional people
The process is carried out directly from the browser, without complex configurations, and adapts to different levels of monitoring depending on each institution’s requirements.
