What is SMOWL PRO?

User authentication

Before starting a test, the system asks the user to show their identity document and performs an automatic comparison between their face and the photo on the document. You can also configure periodic validations during the exam.

360° supervision: add a second camera

SMOWL PRO allows the user to connect a smartphone or tablet as a second camera, with no need to install any app, simply by scanning a QR code. This way, you get a more complete view of the student’s workspace and can detect:

Unauthorized objects.
External help outside the main field of view.
Possible impersonations or irregularities.

Ideal for institutions with little margin for manual supervision, since it allows you to create secure evaluation environments automatically.

Webcam + environment supervision

The main camera records the user during the entire test. Along with the second camera, you can detect:

Person changes.
Presence of unauthorized persons.
Prolonged absences.
Use of unauthorized materials.

Computer Monitoring

Monitors all device activity during the evaluation:

Use of generative AI (ChatGPT, Gemini…).
Access to unauthorized websites or software.
Copying and pasting from external sources.
Open applications and connected devices.

The system records each action and classifies it as an incident according to the configured criteria.

Browser Lock

Restricts browser actions such as:

Opening new tabs.
Accessing unauthorized content.
Copying and pasting from local or external documents.

If the user exceeds the permitted number of incidents, the browser is locked, and the test ends.

Record & Review

An asynchronous supervision mode that saves periodic snapshots (instead of video) to make review easier even on slow connections.

A human reviewer then analyzes the alerts flagged by the system. Perfect for:
