Proctoring is defined as the methodology for conducting examinations in which supervision is done remotely. The exams can be computer-based (usually online) or paper-based. Nowadays, it is becoming increasingly common for examinations to be conducted online. Monitoring can be done visually and audibly, using cameras, usually those of the user’s own computer or cell phone.
They can also be in rooms set up for this purpose. The aim of remote monitoring of examinations is that the tests can be done from anywhere, reducing physical and economic limitations.
