Professionally

I have solid experience in content writing and hold a C2 Proficiency (CPE) certificate from Cambridge English, obtained after nearly five years of living and working in the UK and South Africa.

In addition to my background in communications, I’ve also trained in Screenwriting and Audiovisual Law at the School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid (ECAM). I’m passionate about storytelling— written and visual—and I believe Smowltech has many interesting stories worth telling.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked across different areas in content marketing, writing everything from email marketing campaigns and optimized website pages to social media posts, SEO articles, and internal communications.

Some of the most exciting projects I’ve been part of include optimizing websites for software companies such as Customer Alliance (review management) and Surfshark (VPN), as well as creating templates and simulations for Phished (cybersecurity).

My current role involves creating content for different channels, which I do love. But that´s not the only exciting part of my job – Proctoring is revolutionizing education and making it more accessible, and it’s the social impact that makes my work even more meaningful.

Personally

As someone who’s naturally curious, I’m always eager to keep learning. While I plan to continue studying, that same curiosity also led me to live abroad, where I had the opportunity to get to know different cultures.

In addition to traveling, I love documenting my adventures through photography and video, and whenever I get the chance, I take my drone out for a spin.

I equally enjoy a camping trip in the woods and a cultural plan in the heart of a big city. When I’m not traveling, I like going to concerts and exhibitions.

I also love a good book, especially about investigative journalism or social politics. One of my favorite books is Poverty Safari by Darren McGarvey.

When it comes to video games, I picked the hobby back up during the pandemic. I’ve tried quite a few titles in recent years, but nothing can beat Stardew Valley—though Age of Empires II will always have a special place in my heart.
